Citi Plaza (formerly Galleria Mall) is historic to the city as it was North America’s first Downtown mall. An honourable mention goes to Budweiser Gardens which is home to the London Knight’s hockey team and the London Lightning basketball team. This arena has provided London with unlimited entertainment of sports, concerts and miscellaneous events since 2002!
In addition to being the entertainment core of the city, Downtown is home to London’s Central Business District. These businesses include law firms, tech and communications, financial services and an abundance of government companies. Via Rail train and Greyhound bus stations are also within proximity to the Downtown boundaries.
