Carling Heights
Carling Heights is a historic neighbourhood located in the northern part of London, Ontario. Huron Street borders the area to the north, Oxford Street to the south, and Adelaide Street and Highbury Avenue make up the west and east borders. Best known as the home of Canadian Forces Bases London, this neighbourhood is rich in London history. Since the military facilities have scaled down in activity, there has been more opportunity for real estate expansion. Carling Height’s proximity to major roads and LTC bus stops means the residents always have quick access to the city at large. The location itself is fantastic as it is home to several essential amenities.   The residential aspect of the neighbourhood boasts mature homes built in the 1800s. These include farmhouses, post-war single/semi-detached and row housing as well as apartment buildings. From open concept bungalows to spacious two storeys, this neighbourhood is perfect for those on a tighter budget looking for a smaller house near plenty of amenities.
