Old East Village (OEV) is a historic neighbourhood found in the east end of London, Ontario. It is centrally located and simultaneously tucked away to the east of Adelaide Street on Dundas Street. The neighbourhood is only an eight-minute drive to the Downtown core, thus providing its residents with a small community feel amongst the busyness of the city.

Londoners highly regard the OEV as a small community with a ton of history. For this reason, there has been a concerted effort to uphold the area and encourage it to thrive. It has been an Ontario Heritage Conservation District site since 2006 which preserves its rich past through conservation.

OEV is a diverse neighbourhood, with residents of varying ages and heritages. It is a small and welcoming area that oozes charm and a sense of community.

 

The housing in the Old East Village varies. Because it is a historic part of town, there are properties for sale as old as the eighteenth and nineteenth century.
